Elsie M. (Bland) Carter, 84, of Peru, passed away, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at her home.
Mrs. Carter was born on August 29, 1936 in Bureau County to William and Elsie (Phillips) Bland. She married Richard W. Carter in Peru in 1980. She was a factory worker for more than 40 years. Elsie enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading and motorcycling.
She is survived by her children, Theresa Boyd of Granville; Mark Bubb of Peru, Douglas (Cindy) Bubb of Kelso, WA, Anthony (Sandra) Bubb of Utica and Steven (Jennifer) Bubb of Peru; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Arthur Bland of Princeton and Bonnie Biggin of Rapid City, SD.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandchild; her parents; five sisters and six brothers.
