She married Revere Totten of Haddam, KS and took great pride in her 6 children.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband; son, Roderick Totten, sons-in-law, Gene Menzies, Al Shepek, and Klaus Dueck and grandson, Rocky Menzies.
She is survived by daughters; Beatta Shepek and Marilyn Menzies of Salina, KS, Trudy Dueck of Beatrice, NE, Carol Von Fange and husband Duane of Phoenix, AZ; son, Ray Totten and wife Jenean of Beatrice, NE; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
