Mrs. Elsie Rosalyn Carter Goodrum, 92, of Sharpsburg, GA passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016.
Mrs. Goodrum was born in Pike Co. GA to the late Gerald Carter and Opal Shackelford Carter.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, James Floyd Goodrum, and their three children, Linda Steakley of Gainesville, GA, Jeffry Goodrum of Mebane, NC, and Kenneth Goodrum of Granville, OH. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Goodrum was a member of Turin Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother, and an exceptional homemaker who loved cooking and gardening and enriched the lives of her family.
