Vanita Paulk Rainwater passed peacefully into the arms of her precious Lord and Savior on December 31, 2011 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. A native of Berrien County, Georgia, she was born April 8, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Byron John and Bertha Brogdon Paulk. Surviving Mrs. Rainwater is her husband Preston Carl Rainwater.
Her children are Sandra Wendt and her husband Doug and Jeanie Peterson and her husband Doug; all of Newnan.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Tim Wendt and wife Heather of Colorado Springs, Andy Wendt and wife Geri of Perry, David Flagg and wife Paula of West Point, Stephanie Furey and husband Eric of Moreland. There are eight great grandchildren.
She is survived, also, by a brother, John Paulk and wife Rita of Archer, Florida.
