Joyce Eloise Singleton McKinney, 84, died at Washington County Hospital on November 30, 2015. She was a native of Centre, AL. Eloise lived in Northport, AL over 28 years before moving to St. Stephens, AL, where she has been living for 17 years. She and her late husband, Billy, lived in many places throughout his 20 year military career in the US Air Force. In fact, one son, Barry, was born in Anchorage, Alaska. Eloise was a member of St. Stephens United Methodist Church and was a teacher for the Adult Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker and a good seamstress. Eloise was very active in her community service, such as reading to first graders, participating in events of the nutrition center and other activites.
She enjoyd traveling and was an avid reader. Eloise loved her family and always had many dear friends wherever she lived.
