Eloise R. Hosler, 95, Huntington, IN, passed away Saturday March 17, 2012, 9:28 PM at Parkview Huntington Hospital, Huntington, IN. Mrs. Hosler was born March 31, 1916 in Preble, IN to Clyde R. and Mildred E. (Reed) Hannon (Barker). Her parents preceded her in death. She married Fred J. Hosler on Oct. 26, 1941 at the First Presbyterian Church.
He preceded her in death on April 16, 2005. Mrs. Hosler worked for the Huntington Police Dept. as a Record Clerk, retiring in 1976. She also worked as a secretary for Russell Huffman, attorney.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she actively volunteered, the Current Events Club and the Women of the Moose. Survivors include: one son: James R. Hosler, Grapevine, TX and one daughter: Joyce A. Roush, Culver, IN. She was also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Wilbur J. Hannon and one sister: Dorothy J. Walker.
