Eloise Earnest Gurganus, age 82, passed away May 21, 2017 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
Mrs. Gurganus was preceded in death by her father, Ollius Earnest; her mother, Ardelia Earnest; and her husband, Clement Gurganus.
Mrs. Gurganus was a lifelong resident of the Flatwood Community. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Gurganus (Carlos) Connell of Oakman, AL; sons, Jeffrey Gurganus (Melinda) and Joseph Gurganus (Lisa) both of Berry, AL; sister, Eulene Earnest Smallwood of Slidell, LA; brothers, Milford Earnest of Oakman, AL, Paul Earnest and Dwight Earnest both of Berry, AL; eight grandchildren, Chris Connell, Trena Wise, Jeremy Gurganus, Johnathan Gurganus, Jason Gurganus, Christie Pendley, Austin Gurganus and Josh Gurganus; eleven great-grandchildren, Cody and Abby Connell, Christian Weaver, Bella and Rylee Wise, Bridget and Jakob Gurganus, Houston and Zachary Gurganus, Benjamin Taggart and Lane Pendley.
