Eloise W. Brown (Myers), 90, of St. Johns, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2023. She was second eldest of thirteen children of Herman and Mira (Simms) Myers, born April 16, 1933 in Fowler, MI.She left home to serve our country with the Air Force, receiving an Honorable Dischargein1954 to raise a family.Eloise finally retired in 2021, after traveling the world for 32 years as a military spouse, with a career in real estate and then owning an upholstery business. She was also a wonderful seamstress, taught cake decorating, and was a yoga enthusiast, instructing for 15 years until 2020.She was an extraordinary person – always strong and independent, generous and giving, and a good friend, but above all else, was a loving and devoted mother.Eloise is survived by her children, Charlane Brown, Patricia Brown and Dewey (Lisa) Brown; grandchildren, Chayne (Courtney) Shotkoski, Cailan Shotkoski, Charissa Shotkoski and Emma Brown; great granddaughter Cecelia Shotkoski; siblings, Jack (Maxine) Myers, Fay Schmitz, Susan (Thomas) George, Mark (Eve Gross) Myers, Alvin Myers, Ernest (Rosemary) Myers, Grace (Leon) Thelen.She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Norma Claeys, Karen Myers, Charlie Myers, Gerald Myers and Richard Myers.
