Eloise Ann Nagel age 79, of DeMotte, IN passed away on Friday May 21, 2010 at her residence. She was born on March 4, 1931 in Martin City, MO to Ralph and Fredia (Zahner) Thies, both deceased.
On June 9, 1951 she married Edward Goetz JR and he preceded her in death on February 25, 1975. On April 21, 1979 she married Maurice Nagel and he survives. Eloise was a 1949 graduate of the Wheatfield High School. She was retired from the DeMotte Elementary School where she had worked for 13 years as a cook. Eloise was a member of the St Cecilia Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality.
Eloise is survived by her husband Marurice; a son, Donald (Cheryl) Goetz of DeMotte, IN; 4 daughters, Jaqueline (Edward) Stath of Rensselaer, Pamela (Steve) Whited of DeMotte, Anita (James) Bowers of Ohio and Sharon (Ed) Smith of Valparaiso; a sister Mary Brost of Lafayette; 11 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Edward, 2 brothers, Fredrick & Edward Thies.
