Loving mother and devoted Catholic
Elodia “Nana” Minjarez, 68, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo. She was born on April 7, 1939 to Francisco and Natividad (Sanchez) Morales in Chihuahua, Mexico. She migrated to Alamogordo with her husband and three of her sons in 1965. She was a loving mother, devoted Catholic, and helped anyone and everyone. Her last words were “I’m going with the Angels.”
Survivors include sons, Roy, Robert, Ricky, Ramon, Ruben, Frank, and Santiago; daughters, Concepcion, Veronica and Gracelia; and twelve grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited by Estela Valle at 9:30 am on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
