Elnora Brogden, age 80, died Tuesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of Major and Mary Lou Carr Barwick. Retired from A&K Grill, she was a member of Bethel Church in Goldsboro. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Vermont Brogden and her son, Michael Wayne Brogden.
Mrs. Brogden is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Eddie & Angela Brogden of Pikeville, Glenn Brogden of Pikeville and Paul & Leah Brogden of Goldsboro; her daughter & son-in -law, Barbara Jean & Ronnie Reese; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
