Elmer L. “Pete” Paulhamus, 77, of 1306 Cogan House Road, Trout Run, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Sycamore Manor following a brief illness.

Pete was predeceased by his wife, the former Donna L. Milheim, and brothers, Charles, Floyd and Dale.

Pete retired from Anchor Darling Valve in 1995 after 36 years, was a Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War, a member of Williamsport Detachment, Marine Corp League and a member of Centennial United Methodist Church.

Born November 5, 1933 in Salladasburg, he was the son of Ezra C. and Mabel C. Wurster Paulhamus.

Surviving are sisters, Bertha M. Edwards of Williamsport and Lois I. (Rev. Charles) Ulmer of North Canton, OH; honorary grandchildren, Micha Charles and Hannah Mae Brumbach, 17 nieces and nephews and a special friend, Bessie Edwards.
