Elmer Glenn Obertate, 77, of Lawrenceburg, IN, (formerly of Rising Sun) passed away at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 15th, at his residence. Glenn was born in Milan, IN on July 31, 1933, a son of the late Alma Kathleen (Knollman) and Elmer Henry Obertate. He was a graduate of Rising Sun High School, Class of 1951 and served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sargent in the Korean War. He worked at Seagram’s Distillery Lawrenceburg, IN. for 46 years. On Jan. 17, 1953 he married Maxine (Barkley) Obertate who survives him.
