CHARLTON – Ellsworth E.
He was born in Roslindale June 17, 1919, the son of William Angus and Lucy May (Cousins) Grant. He moved to West Roxbury in 1923 where he lived for the next seventy-two years. In 1996, he moved to New Pond Village in Walpole and in 2006 to Overlook Lifecare Community in Charlton.
During World War II, he was on active duty in the South Pacific with the 13th Army Air Force.
He was a competition ballroom dancer, competing in many European countries. Ellsworth has been a continuous member of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts for seventy-five years.
