Ellis N. De Cresce, 85, of Livingston, formerly of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2019. Ellis was the founder and owner of Family Medical & Surgical, Jersey City
A graduate of Duquesne University School of Pharmacy, Ellis was currently a registered pharmacist and past president of the Hudson County Pharmaceutical Society. He was past president of Jersey City Rotary, a member of McKinley Square Assoc., Dante Alighieri Society, The University Club, and Unico National. Ellis was Italian Man of the Year for the Jersey City Columbus Day Parade. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Ellis had a kind a loving spirit, a heart of gold, a twinkle in his eye and a smile for everyone. He loved the company of family and friends both here and in Florence, Italy.
Ellis was the beloved husband of Gale De Cresce; devoted father of Christopher De Cresce, Jennine Calderon, David and Arnold D’Ambrosa; loving grandfather of Charlotte and Everett; dear brother of Frank De Cresce.
