Ellis Dale Anderson, 89, of rural Marseilles, died Monday afternoon, November 23, at the Ottawa Pavilion.
Dale was born on October 21, 1926, in Marseilles, to Martin J. and Cora (Hayer) Anderson. He was a 1944 graduate of Seneca High School, and attended Graceland College. He was a retired farmer and a life-long member of the Community of Christ Church, where he served as a Deacon for more than 70 years.
He is survived by 5 nephews, Robert Michael (Kathy) Anderson, of Champaign, Mark J. (Sherry) Anderson, of Branson, MO, Paul K. (Sarah) Anderson, of Holland, MI, Steve Anderson, of Marseilles, and Stuart (Hazel) Anderson of Marseilles.He was preceded in death by a nephew, Peter Anderson, and one brother Robert H. Anderson.
