On January 8, 2006, Ellen Marie Tate passed on. Ellen lived a happy life with her dear family which includes her daughters, Mary Margaret Lyons and Julie Tate Davies; her son Matthew Tate; her son-in-laws, David Lyons and Jay Davies; her daughter-in-law, Michele Tate; her brother Michael Foley; seven grandsons and two granddaughters. Ellen was a resident of Ocean City after living in Glen Burnie, Maryland for many years. She attended the College of Misercordia and was then a teacher at the Anne Arundel County Public Schools for 35 years. She celebrated her religion as a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Ocean City. When she was not working, Ellen greatly enjoyed reading, going to the beach, attending church socials, shopping and travelling.
