Muncie-Ellen L. Goth, 86, passed away early Monday morning, April 9, 2018, at the Signature Health Care Center following an extended illness. She was born on January 18, 1932, in Muncie, the daughter of Joseph and Martha (Tuttle) Atherton.
Mrs. Goth is a 1950 graduate of Muncie Central High School and later married the love of her life Douglas Goth on November 22, 1950 in Muncie and he preceded her in death February 13, 2005. Mrs. Goth had worked for the Delaware County Prosecutors office and also for the Delaware County Clerk’s office as a Secretary for several years. She was a member of the St.
Survivors include, two sons, Father Dennis Goth, Tipton and Jeff Goth, Muncie; one daughter, Cindy Madsen (husband-Stu), Anderson; five grandchildren, Andrew Goth (wife-Katie), Christopher Baird, Sarah Baird (Chris Polston), Nicholas Campbell (wife-Kristin) and Kasey Toler (husband-Jeremy); seven great grandchildren; one sister, Judy Mansfield, Muncie; special friends, Debbie and Tony Miller, Muncie.
Besides her husband of 55 years, Douglas, she is preceded in death by an infant son, Douglas Andrew Goth in 1968 and one daughter, Teresa Baird in 1993.
