Ellen Jackson Foreman known to family and friend (Mum) (Mrs. Ellen), 88, a native of Whatley, Al, answered the Master’s call from this life early Tuesday morning, at 5:36 am May 25, 2021, while at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. She was born September 19, 1932 to Tom and Florence Jackson in Linden Al.

Mum accepted the Lord at an early age, she raised all her children with the love of the Lord. She was a Pastor’s wife . She worked at the Piggly Wiggly, furniture store, and took care of the elderly. She was a very strong Woman of God spiritually and naturally. She loved to sing her old church songs. She was a member of The AOH Church of God in Christ until her passing.

Through it all, Mum learned to trust in Jesus and she learned to trust in God. And now, she’s at peace with God and reunited with all of those she loved and who had gone on before her. 
Mum is preceded in eternal rest by her beloved husband McKinley Foreman Sr. ;daughter Debra Foreman ; loving parents Tom and Florence Jackson; Sisters Louise Jackson, Lily Martell, Roberta Jackson; Brothers Ernest Jackson, Isiah Jackson.

Left to cherish her blessed memories is her daughters, Fannie De Lois Walker of Detroit, Michigan, Carolyn Chapman of Whatley Al., Mary A. Belton of Columbus Ga., Barbara (Fredrick) Robinson of Palatka Fl., Ellen Mae (Ralph) Newsom of Mobile Al., Johnny Foreman of Grove Hill Al., James Foreman of Mississippi., Robert Foreman of Atmore;  Al., McKinley (Marcia) Foreman Whatley Al.
Three grandchildren she raised as her own; Gregory O’Neal Chapman, Katrina Michelle Chapman, Kendrick LaShawn Foreman all of Whatley Al.
Sister, Jannie Jackson of New York. ; twenty-four, grandchildren;  sixteen , great – grandchildren; four ,  great- great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
