Bertie Ellen Smith-Estill was born on September 20, 1956 in Belton, Texas to Walter Nolan (Pid) and Viola T. Smith. She married the love of her life Robert Wayne Estill in 1979. They Had three children Amanda, Justin, and Bethany who were their pride and joy.
Ellen found her identity as a child of God at a young age. She had an unshakable faith in God that upheld her in some of the darkest times in her life. Ellen was a staple of strength in her family, and was always more than willing to offer prayers, words of wisdom, or a shoulder to cry on when needed. Her friends and family mattered the most to her in this life. She will be greatly missed by all.
Ellen was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Estill; parents, Pid and Viola Smith; brothers, Larry Wayne and Clyde Smith, and one sister Geraldine Smith.
She is survived by her children, Amanda Zacha, Bethany Estill of Gatesville, and Justin Estill of New York; brothers, Dale, Perry and Tommy Smith, and sisters Sheila Trotter of Gatesville and Christine Kutzke of Kempner; grandsons, Caleb, Dayne, Joey, Brody, and Braylen along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
