Ella Smith Sowa of Branford, passed away March 18, 2017 in the Apple Rehab. Facility in Guilford with her husband by her side. She was the beloved wife of Bohdan Sowa. Mrs. Sowa was born in Georgiaville, R.I. daughter of the late Clinton J. and Marjorie Smith. She worked in the Accounting Dept. of the Knights of Columbus Supreme Headquarters in New Haven for more than 30 years. She enjoyed reading, especially reading her bible daily.
