Ella Virginia Ragsdill of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas entered the heavenly gates on October 29, 2008 at the age of 83. A loving wife of 61 years, she is survived by her husband, Norris Lee Ragsdill, her one and only child, Jenny Lea Ragsdill Gill, her son-in-law Jeff Gill, two grandsons, Taylor Lee and Davis Anderson Gill. She is also survived by many close nieces, nephews and was preceded in death by her parents Tina Mae Essary Anderson and Rufus T. “Pick” Anderson. She was also preceded in death by all of her siblings, Velma Floyd, Gladys Hadley, Roy Anderson, Ulyus Anderson and Billy Joe in Deport, Texas on May 15, 1925 “Virginia”, as she liked to be called, enjoyed a wonderful life in the Paris, Dallas, Allen and Boerne areas, never living outside of Texas. She attended Paris Junior College and taught elementary school in Lamar County.
