Ella Marie Dills Biggerstaff, “Marie” age 86, of Dundalk, Maryland passed away peacefully on September 27, 2019 after being in declining health for several months. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the many people whose lives she touched over the years.
Born January 24, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Jimmy and Maggie Vess Dills of Spindale, North Carolina. Marie attended Harris High School and later received her GED.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Gene T. Biggerstaff; her son, Steven E. Biggerstaff; four brothers, James Dills, Lloyd Dills, Vernon Dills, Buddy Dills; and three sisters, Janelle Ruppe, Hathleen Couch, and Reba Biggerstaff.
Marie had a deep love for her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her son Marion E. Biggerstaff and wife Debbie of Severn Maryland; daughter-in-law Barbara Biggerstaff-Gibson; grandchildren Christopher D. Biggerstaff and wife Heidi of Pasadena Maryland; Ashley N. Wellein and her husband Eric, and one great-grandchild, Aubrey Wellein of Greenland Beach, Maryland; and one sister, Ruby Strader and husband Wayne of Spindale, North Carolina.
