Westfield – Ella Mae “Sue” Rector, 88, passed away Friday, September 30, 2013, at Maple Park Village in Westfield following a brief illness.
Sue was born in Yorktown on June 15, 1925 the daughter of William H. and Nettie (Needham) Storms, and attended Muncie Schools. She moved to Okeechobee, Florida where she lived for 20 years returning to Muncie in 1995.
Mrs. Rector attended Full Gospel Temple. She ran Bingo and Euchre games at VFW in Okeechobee, Florida for several years.
Survivors include a son, Michael W. Rector, (wife-Pam), Westfield; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Samuel F. Rector; two sons, Marion Dean and Samuel E. Rector; a daughter, Judy J. Rector-Caudill; three brothers; and two sisters and a grandchild.
