Ella Mae Peoples, 71, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.
Ella was born July 4, 1941, in Turrell, Ark., to the late James Thomas and Cleola (Brown) Robinson.
She was preceded in death by siblings Leroy Robinson and Sadie Pegues.
Surviving are her husband James F. Peoples, whom she married May 12, 1984; children James T. (Annette) Peoples, Ella J. Peoples, Terry L. Peoples, and Walter E. (Angie) Peoples, all of Elkhart; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and siblings Eddie L. (Tonya) Robinson, Willie and Jimmy F. Robinson, Theadore Robinson, Eddie L. Thomas, Leslie (William) Wall, Lelia D. Neely, Ollie M. Hurt, Delois Barnes, and Evelyn, Debra and Barbara Thomas.
Ella worked at Barger Packaging and for the Riblet family for 50 years. She was a member of the South Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
