Mrs. Elizabeth G. Williams, 89, a resident of Valley, AL passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at EAMC at Lanier.
Mrs. Williams was born in Huntsville, AL and had lived in the Valley area most of her life. She was a retired Pensions Coordinator for West Point Pepperell, with over 40 years of service with the company. She was a member of Shawmut First Baptist Church and had been very active in her church and was a Sunday School Teacher. She was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Little Boston Club. She loved her family and her friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Taunton, grandchild, Staci Taunton; great-grandchildren, Carter & Chandler Johnson; Brady McDowell; Alyx & Peyton Crenshaw. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Williams, and was the daughter of the late Roy Garnand & Lottie Savage Garnand.
