Elizabeth DiSturco Vitelli, 82, formerly of Redfield St., New Haven, passed away Dec. 29, 2011 in Whitney Manor. She was the widow of Harry Vitelli. Mrs. Vitelli was born in East Haven on June 18, 1929, daughter of the late Albert and Raphaela Baldino DiSturco. She is survived by one son, Harry A. (Anne) Vitelli Jr. of Hamden;four daughters, Sandra (Richard T.) Martin of Branford, Debra Sullo of East Haven, Pamela Vitelli of North Haven and Cheryl (Leon) Vitelli of New Haven; two sisters, Anna Provenzano of Bridgeport and Julia Campofiore of Middlebury; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Barichko. Mrs. Vitelli was a lifelong resident of New Haven and was a loving mother and grandmother.
