Elizabeth (Marinangeli) Urban, 98, of LaSalle, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at Manor Court of Peru.
Mrs. Urban was born on January 22, 1918 in LaSalle to Frank and Marietta (Sabitini) Marinangeli. She married James Urban on June 5, 1948 in the Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, LaSalle. He passed away February 2, 1994. She worked at Blakelys Clothing in LaSalle and Paul Khoury Clothing Store in LaSalle. She was a member of Queen of Holy Rosary Church and the churches alter and rosary society.
She is survived by her children, Walter Urban of Clinton and Marietta Urban of Geneva; three granddaughters, Jeannette Fought, Becky Schmid and Jennifer Urban; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers, John, Victor, Geno, Richard and Hank Marinangeli; and three sisters, Theresa, Nellie and Tinee Marinangeli.
