Elizabeth “Betty” Tucci Elizabeth “Betty” Tucci (nee Jackamonis), of Burlington City, died peacefully Wednesday, January 20th, 2016 at her home which she loved dearly. Betty was born in Everson, PA and lived most of her adult life in Burlington City. Betty worked at J. Chein as a toy maker for 18 years, followed by Olivetti and Graphco as a spooler before retiring to enjoy precious time with her husband and family.

Her retirement was also filled with love for the beach, sun tanning, casinos, and making memories with her loved ones in Sea Isle City. Her love for children began at the toy factory and shined throughout her life as she adored caring for her grandchildren over the years and joyfully watched children playing in the Samuel Smith schoolyard every day. She will always be known for her smile, laughter, strength, positivity and innocent stubbornness. She made everyone around her feel so loved with her tender heart, soft touch, and sweetness. She was also a great people-watcher and loved to share conversations that warmed strangers’ hearts. She is deeply loved by all and will be missed by many.

Daughter of the late Julius George and Ada Pearl Jackamonis (Schmook), she is pre-deceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Frank S. Tucci. Betty is survived by her family who adored her including her only daughter Robin and husband Bruce Boehm, grandchildren Bruce and Maryanne Boehm, Winter and Kevin Skelly, Heidi and Tim Smith; sister, Florence “Flo” Morrison, brother, Robert “Hickey” Jackamonis, as well as several very special nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her precious great-grandson Brayden Boehm and was excited for the upcoming birth of Winter and Kevin’s first child in March. We find comfort in knowing that she is in heaven with Poppy, drinking rum and cokes, and dancing to the Wooly Bully.
