Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Eiss, a healthcare secretary, moved to this area in 1977. She was a charter member of American Veterans Post 2 Ladies’ Auxiliary in Edgewater and a member of American Legion Post 17 in New Smyrna Beach. Mrs. Eiss loved going on cruises and traveling, gardening, playing cards, bingo, playing trivia at Peanuts, decorating, designing, and cooking.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Robert; 2 daughters, Melissa Moncrief (Christopher), and Jennifer Ann Eiss all of Edgewater; and her mother, Delores Woodes of South Daytona.
