Elizabeth May Sipes, 81, of Bloomington, passed away on Thursday July 10, 2014 at the IU Health Hospice House.
Elizabeth was born May 1, 1933 in West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Tony and Golden Atchley.
Elizabeth worked for Wal-Mart for 16 years and also worked several years for Phar-Mor and was named Employee of the Month on several occasions. She loved attending Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.
Survivors include her son Bobby Lee Yaden of Bloomington, two grandchildren Israel Yaden of Indianapolis and Chrissa Yaden of Bloomington and her brother Donald Atchley of Gainesville, Florida.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Sipes and sister Dottie Atchley.
