Elizabeth Pitfield Weaver, age 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 18, 2015. She was born in New Orleans on January 23, 1938 to the late Ira and Toni Pitfield. She had one brother, Ira R. Pitfield Sr. (Patricia Pitfield), who preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Daniel Goodman (Carrie Wilkins), Denise Nestor (James Heffner), and Horace Weaver III (AnnMarie Weaver); grandchildren Manuel Campo III (Christine Campo), Brandi Campo, Haeley Frey, Stefan Weaver, Alexis Smith (Andrew Smith), Sophia Weaver, Canyon Weaver, and Raquel Weaver; and great-grandchildren Lydia Kemp, Leightyn Deal, Aiden Smith, MiaBella Campo, and baby Campo.
Elizabeth graduated from F.T. Nicholls High School in 1956 and attended Southeastern University.
