Elizabeth Philomena Geraghty (née Byrne) entered into eternal life on August 14, 2022, at her home in Chicago, Illinois, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Anthony Geraghty, and is survived by her five daughters, her fourteen grandchildren and first great grandchild, along with her children’s partners, her beloved nieces and nephews, and friends too numerous to mention.
Known as Phil or Phyllis to her extended family and as Elizabeth to many friends and work colleagues, she was the fifth of thirteen children born to Murtagh and Elizabeth Byrne in County Kildare, Ireland.
