ELIZABETH G. (LIZ) PHILPOTT, 70, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 21, 2010 in Albuquerque.
Elizabeth was born March 9, 1939 in Central to Jesus and Josephine (Allison) Garcia. She worked for many years as a bartender and made many friends. Elizabeth enjoyed and longed to be constantly with her husband of 14 years Kenneth. She was frequently found playing bingo, the lottery and loved gambling and crocheting. She loved being around her family, going out to eat and visiting with friends.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband Kenneth M. Philpott of Hurley, sons Edward Delgado and wife Patsy of Lordsburg, Johnny Ray Delgado of Security CO, and Michael Scott Lucero of Phoenix AZ, daughters Debbie Dominguez and husband Raymond of Mimbres and Karen Allison and husband Ray of Bayard, brother Charles Cordova and wife Dolores of CA, sisters Esperanza Leyba and husband Albert, Susie Sedillos and husband Sam of Carson City NV and Sally Lucero and husband Richard of Santa Clara. Also surviving her are 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and special friends Sylvia Tellez of Chamberino and Louise Abreu of Durham, SC.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, a brother Jesus Cordova and a great-granddaughter Daniella Alvarez.
