Elizabeth P. Moore (Boots) died peacefully at the age of 100 at her home in Austin, Texas, on November 11, 2016. Elizabeth was born August 11, 1916, in Louisville, Kentucky. She moved to New Orleans with her beloved husband Walter in 1939. Elizabeth was devoted to her husband, her family, and her faith, and was an active citizen. She loved living in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina made it necessary to relocate.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter, and her son, Joel. She is survived by son David Moore and daughter-in-law Dee and by daughters Judy Caswell, Elizabeth Moore, Eleanor Wright and son-in-law Hal, and Virginia Aultman-Moore and son-in-law J, as well as 14 dearly loved grandchildren and 12 cherished great-grandchildren.
