Elizabeth P. Blake, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012, at Town Manor West Nursing Home, Norristown. She was the wife of the late George Blake, who died in 1999. Born in Palmerton, Elizabeth was a daughter of the late Stephen and Pearl (Borbley) Winkler. She was a cook at the Maples Restaurant for many years, and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She lived a life of caregiving, caring for her family and friends, especially Elsie Totenbier. Survivors: Daughter Bonnie Jackson and her husband Tom of Norristown; son Lawrence Blake of Florida; sister Marjorie Mertz of Tennessee; brother William Winkler of Center Valley; grandchildren Donna Mathratta, Taige Blake, Denise Carpia, Lora Seeton; 5 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
