Elizabeth Mildred “Beth” Holt, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on Saturday May 22, 2021.  She was 70 years old.

Elizabeth Mildred Voth was born September 28, 1950, in Windom, MN, to parents Joyce and Carl Voth. She was the oldest of four children. In 1959 the young family moved to Colorado where she lived for most of her life.  Elizabeth graduated in 1968 from Iver C. Ranum High School, and later in life, she earned her CLU, ChFC at Bryn Mawr College.

Beth married her high school sweetheart Stephen Sanford in June,1968.  Together they had two children, son Stephen Jr. and daughter Kulin.

In 1987 Beth entered a dramatically new chapter of life. After separating from her husband, she plotted a fresh course for her life, both relationally and professionally.  In August,1991, she married Robert “Bob” Holt, Sr..  Beth and Bob started their own private practice – The Private Consulting Company – consulting with high-net-worth individuals with wealth management and planning.  In 1993, they moved to Las Vegas, NV, and for 27 years, where they continued to worked to cultivate and develop solid businesses, lasting relationships, and meaningful traditions.

In 2017, Beth lost her husband Bob.  Through the process of grieving and healing, Beth had a long-time friendship that developed into a companion and partnership.  In 2019, Douglas Tremblay became part of her life, and he became someone with whom she was able to share her love of travel and family, and who in turn shared with her new ways to enjoy and embrace life.

Beth lived life largely, intentionally, and meaningfully. She was a force of nature, always working toward personal and professional goals.  Her personality and spirit are incomparable – and she will be missed by her friends and family.

Beth is survived by her sister Elaine Kraemer and her brother Jay Voth, her son Stephen Sanford Jr., her daughter Kulin Strimbu, and five biological grandchildren: Christopher, Caleb, Cameron, Ryan, and the princess Megan, Beth is also survived by family, joined in family through marital union: children Vonda Holt and Scott Holt; grandchildren Casey, Cody, Craig, Tylene, Brandon, and Morgan; and nine great-grandchildren, and by her partner, Douglas Tremblay.
