Okeechobee – Elizabeth May Smith died on January 14, 2021. She was born October 6, 1938, in Bridgeton, New Jersey to James and Elizabeth (Taylor) Printz. A resident of Okeechobee for 12 years, she was an Eagles’ Auxiliary. A devoted and beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she always put others’ needs before her own. She enjoyed crocheting, arts, crafts, and woodworking. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Harry.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harry Smith, of Okeechobee; daughters, Cheryll Hepburn (John), of Okeechobee, and Betty Lou Macomber (James), of Virginia; three grandchildren, Jeremy Mangold, Danny Macomber, and Andy Macomber; two great-grandchildren, Jakob Mangold and Hanna Mangold; brothers, Donny Macellari (Ruth), Danny Printz (Iva), and Jimmy Tice; and sister, Judy Branca (Vince).
