Elizabeth (Betty) Marie (Boucher) Chabot 87 years of age left us here on earth to be with her heavenly father. She was born March 27, 1929 in Norwich Ct.. She passed on March13,2017. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Boucher. Betty attended the Norwich Public School system. For the past 20 years Betty worked as a Bar Maid at the Polish Legion of American Vets.Betty was an avid sports fan of the Green Bay Packers, Boston Redsox, UCONN girls basketball, and the Mohegan Sun Women’s basketball.
Betty was preceded in death by her father and mother, her brother Thomas, her sister Theresa, 2 brother-in-laws Ralph and Arthur, a son-in-law Brendon and a great, great granddaughter Amaris. She leaves to cherish her memory her 6 children Mary Larose, Brenda Clay, Katherine Jones (Mark), Ellis Ruley Jr. (Jessica), Barbara Axson (Nathaniel), Patricia Pemberton (Steven).
Betty also leaves behind her partner of 40 years Anthony Jablonski and 2 sisters Helen Bailey of California and Joan Frechette of Connecticut. To cherish her memory she also leaves behind her 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. Never to be the one to turn someone away Betty was also known as Nana Chabot by her 5 step grandchildren, 7 great, greatgrand children, and 1 step great, great grandchild. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Betty was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was a giver even when she didn’t have it to give she would always find a way. She never passed judgment even if one was doing wrong and was one who loved no matter what. She was truly a blessing to those who knew her and will be missed by many. Until we meet again our sweet angel.
