Elizabeth (Betty) M. Houghton, age 85, passed away May 8, 2019, at the Fountains at Bronson Place in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Elizabeth was born July 6, 1933, in Springfield, Vermont. On October 5, 1952, she was united in marriage to Warren S. Houghton. Elizabeth was a member of the Oshtemo United Methodist Church and the Kalamazoo Downstreamers. She enjoyed camping, canoeing, bird watching, and baking.
Elizabeth especially loved caring for and spending special times with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Warren S. Houghton on November 24, 2017; and by her parents.
Surviving are two daughters Pam “Kye” (Gary) Krafft and Paula (Jeff) Boes; four grandchildren Megan (Theodore) Gould, Kevin Krafft (Tamara Mitchell), Adam Boes, Nathan (Jessica) Meister; two great-grandchildren Alyssa Gould and Carter Gould.
