On Sunday, September 4, 2016, Elizabeth M. (Saporito) Pignatella, 75, formerly of Porter’s Pass in Berlin, passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Born in New Britain, CT on March 9, 1941, she was predeceased by her former husband James J. Pignatella, Jr. Prior to retirement, she was employed many years with A&P and Food Mart Supermarkets as a head cashier. Left to honor and cherish her memory are her two sons, Rick Pignatella of Plainville & Jeffrey Pignatella of Wethersfield.
