Mrs. Elizabeth M. (Siolz) Hamilton, 97, of Oglesby, passed away May 5, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Hamilton was born on August 2, 1918 in Oglesby to Frank and Anna (Gatz) Siolz. She married Russell P. Hamilton on April 12, 1947 at Sacred Heart Church in Oglesby. She worked as a beautician, for Westclox in Peru and Mid America Growers in Granville. She was a member of Holy Family Church in Oglesby.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Dorothy) Hamilton of Utica, Greg (Lorraine) Hamilton of Peru, Lorene (Dale) Munson of Oglesby and Kevin (Denise) Hamilton of Ottawa; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963; one son, Roger J. Hamilton in 2002; two brothers and six sisters.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Hamilton, Kristopher Hamilton, Russell Hamilton, David Munson, Nikole Hamilton, Kara Hamilton, Alysia Johnsen, Michelle Bumber and Janelle Nordvedt.
