Norwich, CT – Elizabeth M. Thompson, 84, of West Town St., passed away May 4, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late John D. Thompson who died in 1997. Born in Norwich, she was the daughter of the late David & Beatrice (Eastwood) Morton.
Mrs. Thompson as she was known to her students, was a 1949 Graduate of Norwich Free Academy and 1953 graduate of Willimantic State Teachers College. She taught school in Ledyard School System for two years and in Poquetanuck School in Preston for 23 years retiring in 1990.
