Elizabeth M. Fischer, 93, of Coopersburg, formerly of Quakertown, died Wed. Jan. 6th at Valley Manor. She was the wife of the late Adolph (Nin) Fischer. Born in Broadway, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Helen (Keifer) Roberts. Betty was an active woman with a wide variety of interests. She and Nin owned and operated Lynndolph Farms for a number of years, and in the last 15 years of their life together they supported group homes for underprivileged children in the Tri State area. She was a former archery champion, a German Shepherd breeder, and an avid reader. She also loved to go fishing with Nin, knit, crochet, play bingo and cards (especially pinochle), with the occasional trip to the casino. She is survived by her son, Frederick Fischer, wife Carol; daughters Lynn Martinez, husband Gilbert, and Jean McDonald, late husband Jerry; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Dolph Fischer.
