Elizabeth Jo Hartley, age 69 of Winamac, IN passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
Elizabeth was born on September 20, 1944 to James and Agnes (Bradford) Hall in Monon, IN. Elizabeth graduated from Rensselaer High School, class of 1962. On April 13, 1966, Elizabeth married the love of her life, Nelson G. Hartley in Rensselaer, IN. She briefly worked at Schumacher’s in Rensselear, IN and later found joy in being a homemaker. Elizabeth was a member of Grace Baptist church of Monon, IN. She liked to crotchet, sew and she enjoyed reading her romance novels. Elizabeth was an avid bell collector.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Nelson G. Hartley; her children, Ruth Wicks of Indianapolis, IN, Daymond Hartley and Krista (Henry) Epps both of Winamac, IN. Her eight grandchildren; brother, William (Anita) Hall of Lafayette,IN and sister, Judy (Marshall) Poor.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by one grand daughter, Ellen Wicks.
