Elizabeth Jane “Betty” Wilson, age 69, passed peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 10, 2016. She was born in Mobile, AL. on December 3, 1946 to the late William Roy and Lucy (Butler) Wilson, and was a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area. After graduating Fortier High School she married Bernard Fazzio, held a career with two prominent law firms in Louisiana for over 50 years and even attended Woodstock. Loved by all who knew her, she was known for her heart of gold and was fiercely devoted to her loved ones. She is survived by her brother William Roy, and his wife, Cyndi Wilson, as well as her most beloved son, Joseph Benedict Fazzio.
