Elizabeth J. Inman (nee O’ Neill), formerly of Burlington, died Tuesday, December 29th at the Broadmoor Assisted Living and Hospice Center in Ft. Pierce Florida, she was 88 years of age. Born in Burlington on June 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Susan O’ Neil.
A graduate of Burlington City High School, Class of 1939, she had been employed as a supply officer for Ft. Dix Army Base in Wrightstown for many years before retiring in 1977. A member of N.A.R.F.E., (National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees), Betty enjoyed bowling, bingo, and her trips to the casinos in A.C. A lifetime Burlington resident she moved to Ft. Pierce five years ago. Wife of the late Edward Inman she is survived by several nieces and nephews including, Thomas O’ Neill of Burlington, Christopher O’ Neill, Susan O’ Neill, and Patricia Bounds all of Ft. Pierce, FL.
