Elizabeth J. (Betty) Corbin, 79, of 158 Corbin Rosa Drive, Nisbet, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 peacefully at her home with her family at her bed side.
Betty and her husband, Raymond D. Corbin observed their 41st wedding anniversary on June 28, 2009.
Betty enjoyed cooking, baking and the large family get togethers. She was an avid reader, sewer and quilter.
Born November 27, 1929 in Little Marsh, Tioga County, she was the daughter of Ivan B. and Wilda L. Fero Costley.
Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, Lloyd E. (Brenda) Abbey in Michigan and Marshall R. (Tricia) Corbin of Nisbet; daughters, Ellen Kay (Jim) Wright of Williamsport and Deanna L. Barnhart in Kentucky; brother, Keith A. Costley of Linden; sister, Sandra D. Panning of Williamsport; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Betty was predeceased by a son, Garreth W. Abbey, Jr. and brothers, Charles and Richard Costley.
