Elizabeth Ann Ivy (Libby) of Scottsdale, AZ passed on September 21, 2015. Beloved daughter of Lauretta and Steve Ivy of Scottsdale, AZ and Durango, CO. She is also survived by Aunt and Uncle Darlene and Lee Ivy; Cousins Bristol Ivy of Portland, ME and Adam (Chandra) Ivy of Portland, OR; Great Aunts Geneva Ivy of Arlington, TX and Dorothy Baker of Gonzales, LA; special friend Richard Owens of Scottsdale, AZ and Sand Point, ID; and best friend Jennifer Pike of Gilbert, AZ. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Dixie and Robert Ivy and Love and Reece Jones of Tecumseh, OK.
Elizabeth graduated from Midwest City, OK High School with honors and the University of Oklahoma with scholarships from the Midwest City Masonic Lodge and the College of Journalism at OU.
She moved to Scottsdale where she was employed as a Business Wire Editor, until she was invited to interview for Corporate Spokeswoman for Medicis Pharmaceutical Company, rising to Executive Director of Corporate Communications.
Libby enjoyed her work as long as her health would permit, but was eventually forced into taking advantage of her company’s professional disability program. She fought a brave fight against a host of autoimmune diseases including Addison’s Disease and Hashimoto’s. She will be missed by all who knew her.
