Survivors included her: daughter Leslie Sanders; sons: John (Brigitte)Pate, Michael (Tonya) Pate, Tommy (Holly) Pate, Tracy (Lorri) Pate and William (Dawn )Pate; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Dell is preceded in death by her husband John V. Pate Jr. and her sons: Jack Pate and Robert Sanders.
